Nick Hayden is in his late 20s. He lives in the Midwest, where he makes his living keeping books for his parents’ Honda motorcycle dealership. (And, no, he knows almost nothing about motorcycles, despite this. He’s not sure why.) He once thought he’d be a math teacher. He recently became a father.

Nick is a quiet guy until you get to know him well. Then he tends to talk incessantly. (Ask his wife Natasha.) Most of the time, he likes how his novels and short stories turn out—until he’s seized by a fit of insecurity. Then he’s the most abysmal writer ever to soil the planet with his gobbledy-gook.

He has published two novels: Trouble on the Horizon and The Remnant of Dreams. He is working on the third in the series…slowly….
